Purchasing Jewish Paintings

He just wants to amass a collection quickly of all of the Jewish paintings I can find without budget or any guidelines. I found oil on canvas painting of artist Amparo Cruz Herrera called Jewish meeting. He is Spanish and this work exuded grace. I liked it a lot and purchased it for eight thousand dollars. My sponsor was happy with the purchase.

My client made no dissimilarity between Jewish paintings and religious nature of those only painted by a Jewish person. Leon Bakst subject was a person in an exotic costume that was dated 1910. He might not display it.

The next one was a cityscape in oil of a deserted house in Veroia costing six thousand dollars, it was a bit unsettling.
This painting was Juedisches Oesterreich Jewish Austria by Frank Ettenberg in 2004. It evoked a feeling of the artist’s state of being face to face with nationalism, and an existential situation.

The oil painting called Birds of Paradise was painted by Maurice Sterne. Sterne for four thousand dollars was a Jewish immigrant from Russia. He had exhibited 174 paintings, drawings and sculptures at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

The artist of this cat was Wettingfeld Zarojewski sold for thirty five hundred dollars. My client really liked it but I could not find any more of his work.

There was a wonderful Jewish painting of a woman seated. I fell in love with it on sight. The woman depicted looks so reflective and comfortable. I feel at ease just gazing at her.

I lastly found a religiously momentous Jewish painting; the artist was Joan Landis and the title was Simhat Torah. The painting was 2003 calendar by Pomegranate Publishing for their greeting cards. There was a wonderful Jewish painting of a woman seated and looks so reflective and comfortable.

I purchased two Jewish paintings by Joan Landis one named Shabbat and the other one was Mikveh.

I purchased more work by Joan Landis.  Found them on eday. I purchased Shavuot, Purim and Birth for three thousand dollars each.

The Tailor Shop painting was created by Jacob Glushakow. He was an active member of the Jewish community in Baltimore. I found two Jacob Glushakow Jewish paintings, entitled Barn in Maryland. My client was very happy.
